About North End Cafe. Located on Historic Frankfort Avenue in two Renovated Shotgun style Houses, the North End Café offers a unique setting for any occasion. Our décor blends historic architectural elements of the original design with modern accents. We feature a collection of artwork from Louisville's up and coming artists. Since opening in April 2003, the North End Café has Quickly gained a reputation as one of Louisville's Premier Restaurants. Our menu highlights traditional items made with a health conscious approach using the freshest seasonal ingredients available. When at all possible, we buy from local growers and grow vegetables and fresh herbs in our multi-acre garden located in Simpsonville, Kentucky. We also have vegetarian and organic menu choices. In November 2005, we expanded the restaurant to include a full bar and lounge as well as additional outdoor seating. The bar features an extensive bourbon and wine list as well as a late night menu. Local DJ's perform Thursday through Saturday until 2 a.m. North End Café hosts on and off site catering for any number of people and any occasion. |
